Intellectual property & User Content
All platform infrastructure, software code, branding, and original platform materials provided on this website are the property of Global New Music and Marko Elevaara, protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
By submitting, linking, or uploading any content—including songs, playlists, music, artwork, streaming service links, or social media accounts—you warrant and represent that you are the rightful owner or authorized administrator of those accounts and hold all necessary copyrights, rights, and permissions. You grant Global New Music a worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to host, display, adapt for preview formatting, and transmit your uploaded content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the discovery platform.
User accounts & Conduct
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of registration information and for maintaining the safety and security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password. Inform us immediately of any suspected security breaches.
When using the Global New Music service, you are strictly responsible for the content you publish. The use of bots, fake plays, or artificial manipulation to grow streams is strictly prohibited. The unauthorized sale of playlist placements is strictly prohibited.
We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, remove infringing content, and restrict access at our sole discretion.
AI-Generated Content & Submission Limits
In compliance with European Union transparency regulations (EU AI Act), users must clearly mark and disclose any submitted content—including audio tracks, artwork, or text—that has been generated or substantially assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
To protect platform resources, maintain quality, and prevent spam, each user account is limited to a maximum of five (5) AI-generated content items across their profile.
Submitting undisclosed AI content or attempting to bypass the 5-item limit may result in the immediate removal of the content and possible account suspension at our sole discretion.
Copyright Infringement & Takedown Requests
Global New Music respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content hosted on or linked through our website infringes upon your copyright, please send a written takedown request via our About page containing details of the copyrighted work and direct links to the infringing material, or use the "Report" link on the specific item. We will promptly investigate and remove or disable access to non-compliant content upon verification.
Newsletter & Email Communications
By creating an account or submitting your music on this website, you agree to receive our regular newsletter hosted via Substack. We use our newsletter to share platform updates, featured artist spotlights, music discovery tips, and industry resources.
You retain full control over your subscription at all times. You can cancel or opt out of the newsletter at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any Substack email, or by managing your email preferences directly on Substack.

Applicable law & Disputes
By visiting this website, you agree that the laws of Finland, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these terms and conditions or any dispute that might arise between Global New Music and you. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Finland.
Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
Global New Music provides this platform on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without guarantees of constant uptime or uninterrupted service. You agree to indemnify and hold Global New Music and its operator harmless against any legal claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services or violation of these terms.
Global New Music reserves the right to edit, modify, and update this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of major updates electronically or via website updates.
